The design of the site had to incorporate the ONE Financial philosophy of innovation and leading-edge thinking. It could not simply be a reflection of the designs of other websites in the Financial Services industry – it had to be fresh, edgy and innovative.
The construction of the site was approached with an eye for search-engine accessibility and transparency. All content was summarized, categorized and labelled. All navigation – including the dynamic sidebar navigation system employed on the content pages – was constructed to be visible even to text-based browsers or PDAs.
